The following is an introduction to the school emblem of Furuichi Elementary School in Hiroshima City.
The 16 triangular outer rings represent the sun and express the desire for children to grow up bright and healthy.
　The word "small" first represents the "small" of elementary school, and it gives the three meanings of intellect, virtue, and body under the guidance of teachers, and the appearance of human beings helping each other, and the meaning of standing firmly in the three dings.
　The large circle represents harmony, and with the feeling of being embraced, we pray for peace in the school, peace in the town, peace in the country, and peace in the world.

６年生が、総合的な学習の時間「古市の未来学」の活動をしています。
古市をもっとよい街にするために、児童一人一人が課題を見付け、その解決のために取り組んでいます。
今回は、「古市には外国の方も多く住まれているため、そうした方々にも優しい説明が増えたほうがよい。」という思いをもった児童が、学校のホームページに英語のページを作りました。
